THIS IS INCREDIBLE

How did you manage to do this sort of movement?

What programs were used and what was the process?

Photoshop can do it, with numerous layers... It's hard to explain even with my own language. Google those software tutorials, it will be clear than my poor English.Sweating a little...

This is a great enough image in two dimensions. The depth added by the 3D makes me want to put you in charge of a feature film adaptation, though. ;)

I do I do like this kinda work. I listened to the audiobook last year read by Will Whedon. Great stuff and this picture is an awesome tribute. I was gonna ask where's evangelion in the 2D version but I guess I didn't look propoerly. But i can see the mecha in the back there...wow amazing work.

The effect seems to have been done in Flash. Might be PS. If you look closely it's just specific layers being moved around.

Really well done! I love that even the dust has been accounted for in the shift-effect, and just watching it move and letting your brain give you that 3d effect is great fun. It is a little odd that the white text above the title moves with the red text even though the border itself doesn't shift, but I don't really care with such a cool piece!
